ARTificial "I"

Explore a dystopian gallery made up of AI exhibits.

Content Warning:  Jump scare, horror, and adult and AI themes

Made for the 2023 UCLA English department class: Algorithmic Literature, taught by Danny Snelson. In the class, we conducted research on AI, in which I learned how much I opposed it morally. I decided to make my final project in observance of AI and not using AI.
AI is often trained by social and racial biases, as well as dysmorphia-inducing beauty standards; stealing, also, from numerous artists and writers. On the other hand, it can make people's lives easier as well and help solve issues such as increasing accessibility.
This project is meant to raise questions about how humans interact with/observe AI (and how seriously we take it), how ridiculous its output can be, how credit is being thrown around, how the way we train AI makes us feel morally, and how AI is expected to conform to being human. Inspired by pieces like Ex Machina, it also plays with our fears around AI: Awaiting the day of its sentience...

I find the ascii styled art quite fitting for the subject matter
